Privacy Policy
Effective 3 November 2026
Omar Hub ("the Hub", at hub.omarmorsy.com) is a private, non-commercial tool operated by the Morsy family to organise Omar Morsy's search for a university and football club in Europe. It is not offered to the public. Sign-in is restricted to a short list of invited family members.
Information we collect
- Family members' Google sign-in data: name, email address and profile picture, used only to confirm that the person signing in is on the access list.
- Gmail data for the Hub's own outreach mailbox (omar7morsy@gmail.com): message headers and bodies of threads with clubs, universities and related organisations, plus the ability to create drafts, send approved messages and apply labels. No other mailbox is accessed.
- Contact details of clubs and universities: names, roles, email addresses and phone numbers published on official websites or provided by the organisation in correspondence.
- Player profile link analytics: when a recipient opens a private profile link, we record the time and a view count for that link. We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics.
How we use it
- To track outreach, replies, trial invitations and admissions steps.
- To summarise and translate incoming emails and to prepare bilingual draft replies, which a family member reviews before anything is sent.
- To share Omar's player profile with organisations he has contacted.
Google user data
Omar Hub's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Gmail data is used only to provide the outreach features described above. It is never sold, never used for advertising, and never used to train general-purpose AI models. Humans read it only as needed to run the outreach (i.e. the family members themselves).
Service providers
The Hub relies on the following processors, each bound by its own terms:
- Vercel (hosting) and Neon (database) — store the Hub's data.
- Google (sign-in and Gmail API).
- An AI model provider accessed via OpenRouter or Anthropic — receives individual email texts transiently to produce summaries, translations and drafts. Requests are not used for the provider's model training under the API terms in use.
Retention and deletion
Data is kept for as long as the search is active and deleted when the project ends. Any organisation or person may ask for their details or correspondence to be removed by writing to omar7morsy@gmail.com. Gmail access can be revoked at any time from the Google account's security settings.
Children
The Hub concerns a student who is under 18 until April 2027. His personal data and videos are shared only through unlisted, revocable links sent to organisations he contacts, with a parent copied on outreach.
